Replacement of my YN500A with a Ryobi P731

The battery on my YN500A would not hold the charge. After posting a negative - however accurate - review online, I was contacted by a Ryobi representative.
The replaced it with a new P731 inflator; it comes with a exchangeable battery and charger.

This is what I call great customer service.

Junk

We purchased the first inflator because we've used Ryobi for years. It died after a couple uses on our bike tires. And of course it died and stranded me with my two young children on the side of the road with a flat tire. Exchanged for a second, came home and plugged it in to charge. Went to inflate bike tires a few days later wouldn't work at all. Husband went to exchange but forgot the inflator so purchased a third and was told could use that receipt to refund for second. The third just died maybe two months later and we never found the opportunity to take the second back. Called Ryobi about the whole debacle and was told they won't do anything without a receipt. Called Home Depot, they were willing to give me a $20 store credit total for both. No way! This is akin to theft, they are obviously selling a defective product and taking advantage of those who do not use regularly to slap them in the face with the no receipt excuse.
