Seemed to be good, but...
I got my 42" about 105 days ago but did not start using right way as I needed to run the coax upstairs, through the walls, etc.I had a couple of faulty cable boxes, etc., FINALLY, I have those issues resolved and I find that one thing I had attributed to the cable box reappeared. The TV stutters. By that, I mean it grabs a fraction of a second of sound and keeps repeating it over and over until unplugged. Last night, it gave out a loud pop and went dead. The pix always goes black in this process.This AM it turns on again, plays fine for 30 min or so and stutters. Un plug and t appears fine.
I would not buy Sanyo again.

Wasted Money
After the warranty runs out on this TV, so does the life on it. I was in love with my TV but now the screen is black and it screams. I feel cheated. I saved to purchase this TV and now I have to save for the repair. Sanyo...I am not happy at all!

this tv was alright at first but is prone to main driver failures witch happened with this tv i bought 1.5 yrs after i bought it and parts are not able to be bought

not good
have not been able to find an answer to my question about my daughters Sanyo DP42849 42" LCD tv. When turned on there is no picture or sound. Just a flashing green light and tv turns on and off.
