A big phone!

Personal Account

I owned this phone for about two weeks before giving it to my mother because I was getting bored of touch screen phones.
After a few months with this phone my mother was starting to get extremely frustrated. After being told that she couldn't update any of the software on the phone she began to worry that she was being told lies by the phone company. She has to charge the phone up every day and sometimes even twice a day which isn't good as she works for most of it. She can rely on the phone to always work when you need it either which isn't good as she uses it a lot. When my mother backed up the information on the phone to the memory card the phone would freeze half way through and all the vital information (messages, contacts, photos and songs) was lost then you had to reset all the factory settings and enter all the basic information(dates, times, language) again. She also thinks that it is very bulky which isn't good as other Android phones are more compact.
After getting fed up with this phone I decided to give it to my mum she soon got fed up with it herself.
Phone Details

The dimensions of the phone are 119 x 63 x 13 mm. The phone can just about fit in your pocket but isn't safe when it is in there as it can fall out easily. The phone is really long and in my opinion looks like it has been stretched I don't like the dimensions of the phone and believe that it could be smaller for all the features still to be the same.
It weighs 135g which is a good weight considering how big the phone is. With all the things that it can do then the weight is acceptable.

The phone has full touch screen which has a scratch resistant surface. This is a great feature because then you know that if you drop it in your handbag while rushing or drop the phone then the screen won't scratch. As the screen is 4" then it won't spoil the display.
The phone has an MP3 player meaning you can listen to your music on the go and put any of the songs as your ringtone. This is good as you can listen to it any time you want to but it does use the battery life quickly which isn't good.

It has a speaker phone meaning when you are driving you can use it as it is hands free. This is good for if it is an important call and you have to answer the phone. However the sound can sometimes be distorted and hard to make sense of.
The phone also has unlimited entries to the phone book for those who have lots of friends or business contacts so it will never get full and you don't have to delete any entries.

It also has 1GB internal storage this means that this is how much you can store on the phone before needing to get extra memory from a memory card. This is good because most phones only have mega bites. For those who need extra memory space then you can get a MicroSD card which can then have up to 32GB of data.
The phone has 3G meaning how you pick the internet up so it works on the phone. This is great the phone is always fast to get onto the internet to check your social networking sites, emails and any other internet sites you might use.

The phone has blue tooth so you can transfer files from other devices. This is good if you want to transfer documents or files over from one device to another. Baring in mind you aren't breaking any copyright laws.
It also has a USB so you can connect it to your computer. This is easy to do and it means you can put any pictures or music or anything else onto or off the computer to the phone.
It has an 8.1 mega pixel camera with flash which makes photos look crystal clear and you don't need to carry a camera with you if your having a family day out.

Messaging- It has SMS, MMS( Picture messaging) Emailing, Push Email and Instant Messaging. These work on the phone great.
For when you are bored the phone has games and apps you can download some are even free. They provide entertainment for hours well until the battery life runs out. You can download most games and apps that are on the Iphone they are just through a different store (Android Market).

It has Google Maps, Gmail, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube. All these are popular networks that are used by millions daily. Each of these work great at a quick pace. Even the YouTube videos do not buffer which is perfect!
The battery life isn't so good and the time that Sony Ericsson says it lasts for it doesn't. Apparently the phone has 10 hours of talk time. It doesn't seem to even last half of the amount. This isn't good as you can't rely on it when your out.
Advantages

A modern phone with so much software it never seems to be out of fashion.
Disadvantages

The battery life is useless and it is a very bulky phone which seems like it has been stretched.
Extra Info

The phone comes in black or white and there are cases available to make the phone your own.
The phone also come as a contract or you could buy it.
If you would like to buy the phone then it costs between £350 - £400.
You may find buying this phone on a contract more cheaper and better for yourself.
The phone is available on all networks.
Summary

There are lots of room for improvements on this phone mainly fixing the battery life. There are some great modern features but the appearance of the phone lets this down.
