Vizio E420-A1.So-so tv
This hdtv seems great on paper. I have had this tv for less than a week, and while some hd programming look pretty good, it has it's faults. For some reason, I am having a difficult time with the way it transmits the reds and the blues. I have spent a good amount of time playing with the settings and the color temperature. In my opinion, the reds and the blues are inaccurate and TOO bright. I set the red down to 65 and blue down to 20 and while it's better, it's still not right. The 1080p resolution is good while watching things like the news and other hd programs, but I find there is an orange glow to everything, especially faces. I tried to fix this but I'm still not happy with that. I want realistic colors but I haven't found this yet with this set. One last thing, and probably the most annoying- the 120hz refresh rate is not good. I bought this tv mainly for the fact that 120hz is considered standard in watching sports, but I can't say a fast break during a b-ball game is very clear, although they advertised it does.Other than that, I like that it offers many apps and you get a lot for the money.
Sound is good as well.
The stand could be better if Vizio would have allowed a swivel that could move in different directions
