I bought 37 inch E371VA in June 2010. Right away it started muting by itself and turning itself off and on. First they blamed the cable company, and of course they act as though they never heard of the problem from anyone else. They must teach their phone people to say that. So I had to have Time Warner out to check all of the cable connections and the box, which were all fine. Then Vizio wanted to order an onsite repair, and I had 2 no show appointments. So I finally called Costco concierge and lo and behold Vizio sent me a new TV. So this TV has been around for 6 mos. and now it has audio problems and still turns itself off and on. Vizio insisted it was my cable equipment and would do nothing until I switched my cable box. I switched the cable box and the tv still fails, so they grudgingly agreed to set up a service call with their ITI folks, who would call in 5 to 7 working days. So I wait 7 weekdays and hear from no one. I call Vizio who tells me that the call was cancelled because they don't have my serial number. Are you flippin' kidding me. I gave the serial number to Costco and to the Vizio rep. So I give it again, and get the same story that now my service will happen. On day 7 I get another phone call that my service call is cancelled because they are sending me a firmware upgrade that I have to install myself--by "special" 2 day air delivery. That was 2 weeks ago and still no firmware. And I have had 2 more phone calls about the serial number. Vizio has a serious organizational problem in their inability to provide any type of cohesive customer service. They truly suck. Beware and don't give in to the price temptation. You will regret it.
