Yamaha G50-112 ii - Excellent Vintage Guitar Amp
These amps were produced 1979-1980 and (performance-wise) are worth far more than the current resale price. Online prices are generally $150-275 (shipping not included).I paid $100 for mine and another $35 on eBay for the FS-1 footswitch. A few hours of clean-up and it became a really nice vintage amp. They were offered as Series i, ii and iii. The series 2 (ii) is the better of the three options (they improved the first series and junked it up on the third series). The amp is built very solid and the controls are very good quality. The physical dimensions are 17" tall x 21" wide x 10" deep.
It offers a lot of tone options and is great for practice to small gig use. As the name indicates, it pushes 50 watts and has one 12" speaker. It has 2 channels so you can play it clear or crunchy. It has the customary controls including master volume with treble/middle/bass EQ. Additionally it has a parametric EQ which greatly expands what you can do with the sound output.
The best video I have found (not my video) on this amp is on YouTube at this link >> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SC3ej1owciA
