LCD Cracked Easily

I just bought my new ACER Aspire 4752Z and I Love It's specs at an average price. But after 4 months of use, I wonder why the LCD suddenly Cracked simply after closing (Folding) it right after I Finished surfing for a while, It made me think that maybe it was due to a closing impact because how many times I observed that whenever I closed and fold the screen down, It falls by itself (moves like a magnets attracts each other) when I reach about an inch of remaning clearance when closing. I hope Acer comes up with a more durable structural engineering when comes to housing and protecting LCDs of their notebook computers, I am an Acer Fanatic, Actually this is my 3rd ACER laptop as I gave my previous units to my sisters.. Please give me advice/tips on what's the best thing I should do to replace this Crack since I have my precious applications Installed here & I like to bring this to a service center here in Brunei but the Problem is that I will be going back to my home country - The Philippines for good for I just finished my contract here. Hope to receive answers...
