BB Sucks

I couldnt install any other games besides the only one on the appstore and then when i upgraded to 6.0 my blackberry started freaking out and slowing down . Not recommended when you are looking for help to figure out why your blackberry is acting up rim doesnt help much and its hard to find solutions online.

Meh

This phone was not up to par with the latest phones out. The browser and navigation was horrible. Spend your money on a phone that is worth it.

Blackberry Disappointment

Personal Account

I was pretty disappointed with my Blackberry Curve as there always seemed to be something wrong with the model. After I heard friends talk about the Blackberry as they all had them I thought that I would pay the £150.00 phone that everybody seemed to be going crazy about. I now regret that decision.
As a women we tend to talk for long periods of time on the phone to friends. I soon learnt that the product wasn't even capable of 2 hours like the salesman told me in the shop. I thought that this would be okay as I could put my charger in and still carry on talking. I was wrong yet again as I found out that with the charger in it was difficult to hold the phone. I would of thought the battery life would have been good as it is a business phone and if a conference lasted longer than expected then the phone could support this. I was wrong.

Another fault that I had with this phone that is considering it is a 2 mega pixel I was expecting a reasonable sort of camera not some photography type of camera but a decent one. However I was yet proven wrong taking pictures in the daylight makes it look like 12 o'clock at night. If there was a flash on the camera then this would make it a lot better.
I must admit one thing that I do love about the phone is the qwerty keyboard. This is so much better than buttons on the other phone as the letters are in the same place as they would be for using a computer/laptop keyboard. It also makes it easier to write text messages and emails really quickly.
Key Features

Internal Phone Memory - 256 MB (memory card can be added). Make sure you have the memory card as the 256 MB doesn't go as far as you think. Memory cards come in different kinds the less memory they have the cheaper the are. It just depends on how much you would like to store on your phone. I always find it easy to have a memory card with a bigger memory as it is better to be safe than sorry.
It has a 2 mega pixel camera which isn't the best yet I expected it to be decent. However it turned out to be very blurry which isn't good when you want to capture the moment. The camera doesn't have a flash which can light up your picture to make it look brighter.

A colour screen is a basic feature all modern phones have this phone has a great range of colours. The colours are vibrant and if you find them too bright then it has a feature where you can change how bright the screen is.
The Blackberry Curve weighs a light 106g which is exceptional for a business phone which can do so many great things.

Dimensions - 109 x 60 x 13.9 mm. This is great for a business phone as it is compact and can fit in you pocket safely.
The talk time is up to 5 and a half hours. Which I must say after an hour of talking the battery is flashing red and you have to stop your phone call. I believe that the phone having a good talk time is essential as I don't want the battery to die half way through a phone call.

The standby time of the phone is 17 days. I don't think this is very true as I had to charge mine up everyday and sometimes even twice a day. This is very poor for a blackberry as they are usually really reliable. The Blackberry Curve 8520 is a poor model made by Blackberry.
It can send MMS (multi media messages). This means you can send picture message to other contacts. I never sent a picture to anybody so I can't comment how well or how bad it is done.

You can take videos with the phone so you can remember the great moments that you have witnessed and then show others to share the experience. However, the videos can be blurry and are not of a high quality.
The phone has an MP3 player which can store a large amount of music ( if you have a good size memory card). You can listen to your music on the go at any time as it is simple to transfer your music from the computer to the phone using a USB cable.

The phone can also connect to Wi-Fi this means that if you are in public and would like to use the internet then you can do it very easily and not have to be attached to and wires. This feature is really good and works really well.
As a business phone it has Blackberry email and you can check the emails at any time.

The qwerty keyboard is a great feature the Blackberry has to offer. For those of you that don't know what a qwerty keyboard is. It is just the same as a laptop/computer keyboard as the top 6 letters say 'qwerty'.
Details

The Blackberry curve comes in many different colours - Black, Purple and white they can come in exclusive colours it just depends which network provider you buy it from. The phone is extremely fashionable as most people have these. There must be something great for everyone to have them. The main competitors for Blackberry is Apple. This splits the phone critics in half in deciding which is the best model. I would have to say though they are both are bad and have the same qualities yet they Blackberry is more of a business phone (my opinion is based on Blackberry and Apple phones on a whole). Also they make a large amount of different cases to help protect and make your phone stylish all the time.

I have purchases a blackberry phone 8520 a month ago.All what I have downloaded was Whats app.The first week on the third day the battery would need charging in four hours .Every 15 mins it drops 10% which is a disaster especially when you are outdoors depending on your only phone for emergency contact.I have sent it to the seller ,mobile shop ,who replied that there was nothing wrong with the phone. This happens nearly every three days sometimes twice a day.It turned out to be a nightmare and not a proper phone. The agency changed the software but it happened again.I need to change the phone!!!!!!!!!!!!!
