Frigidaire FFGS3025LW Reviews
poor design
My newly purchased Frigidaire gas range cannot be used for canning or for large pots or canners. The result is the rubber feet under the stove top grill will melt and disintegrate. This is not the result of months or years of use but rather the result of one afternoons use.
I spoke with Frigidaire's Customer service about this issue. I was on the phone for an hour and 21 minutes. I spoke with a Customer Service person and the CS Supervisor. What I wanted was resolution to this problem. I believe it is a design flaw in the product.
While the Customer Service personnel were always courteous, they made a concerted effort to make the problem my fault. At first they said I should not use pots that are more than 50 pounds. Then they said I should not use pots that weigh more than 45 pounds.
After I assured them my canners did not weigh that much they said it was because I was using the stove for long durations of time.
They offered me one free set of rubber feet and 50% off the purchase price of additional rubber feet for the next six months. I think this is unacceptable. I need a resolution that will last the lifetime of the stone.
If all you want to do is heat water to make tea this stove will probably serve you well. If you want a stove to perform the tasks that most stoves are designed to perform do not buy Frigidaire.
