Purchased to help with water allergy

My boyfriend is allergic to water. Sounds silly but he is allergic to something the local processing plant puts in it so we purchased this to attach to our faucet. The only issue is that the fittings it came with do not fit our faucet correctly so water springs out around it a bit. We tried a little plumbing tape in between to try and combat it but it still happens occasionally. Nevertheless, it still works great.
