Poor performance and durability problems.

I purchased the GE wcvh6800J based on a consumer reports recommendation. What a mistake. Not only do I have to heavily pre-treat my work shirts with stain remover if I want to get them any degree of clean, but 1 year and 5 months into ownership the water inlet tube cracks, leaking water everywhere, which seems to be a common problem, based on other website complaints. I wish I had my old top loader back, because it cleaned well, and never broke down. This efficiency idea is for the birds.
