Screen broke 30 days after purchasing.

30 days after purchasing my dv6 I turned it on (no damage had taken place) and it was all lines and boxes, plaid. I had not purchased the extra warranty. I called service and they told me that it sounds like the screen was damaged and it would not be covered. BUT one week after sending it I got an email telling me that they replaced the raw panel and speaker kit and it was no charge. Plus they paid for the shipping both ways. Very happy with the customer service.
