Bad dishwasher, worse service
This KitchenAid was supposed to be an upgrade from the builder's grade dishwasher in our house. We spent extra money for a quality KitchenAid dishwasher.It's 3 years old, and I've purchased another dishwasher. The upper rack's holding parts cracked, and when we tried to get them replaced, we were told by Whirlpool (yes, Whirlpool now owns KitchenAid) that we would have to pay for those parts. Cost us about 1/4 of the cost of the entire dishwasher, and I installed them myself.
2 years later, I need the same parts again. And the dishwasher now won't even start.
I will NEVER buy another KitchenAid, or Whirlpool, product again.
