it's like a hairdryer

disappointed in the unit. it works, but it really just puts out about as much heat as a 1500 watt hairdryer. it will gradually warm a small room for sure, but it only puts out around 5,000 BTU, which isnt much. not like a kerosene heater for instance, which can easily put out 25,000, but it is cheaper to run than #1 kerosene, but most kerosene heaters can burn diesel, and the electric company may tell you, your electric is only for instance 6 cents/ KWh, but they usually do not mention you also pay the same 6 cents for a delivery fee as well as a distribution few and you really end up paying like 23 cents/KWh (take your entire bill and divide it by the KWH it says you used and THAT is how much you really end up paying/kilowatt. then get the cost of a gallon of diesel in your area as a comparison, and realize you are getting 25,000 btu's compared to 5,000 btu's worth of heat. but the unit works. its quiet, no smell/etc.
