I have a Maytag MDB7601AWS dishwasher, bought in 2006. The control boards are the worst piece of electronics I have ever experienced.
We have had 3 of them already, and now need a fourth. Maytag refuses to stand behind their product, saying well, you should have bought an extended warranty. No discounts, no recall, no nothing.
My reply is that they shouldn't be selling garbage.
I recommend NO ONE purchase their products, given this atrocious record of electronics.
