Ice maker doesn't work

13 months after I purchased this refrigerator--1 month after the 1 year warranty--the ice maker stopped working. Because the 1 year warranty was up, Maytag told me that I could purchase a $350 extended warranty, or pay for the repairs myself. I decided to have someone look at it myself. It costs $250 to repair the ice maker.
