I like how portable the device is.

Unlike the original DS design, the handheld easily fits in my pocket, so I can play it on the go. Playing GBA games gets to be a problem though, because the cartridge sticks out unlike the original.

Sleeker and more durable

I bought a DS Lite after my original DS's hinge almost broke off, and initially I was worried as to whether it was worth buying more hardware. However, once I bought it, I found its smaller size and tougher build quite worth the spend. If you're not interested in the new-fangled features the DSi/3DS has to offer, this little guy will work just fine.
