Poor performance, no support from Samsung
I bought Samsung LN40A550 in 2009 in Toronto. I watched TV around 4 hours/day and it was perfect until 2015, picture became white, unclear like ghosts. Searched on internet showed it was a common problem for Samsung, TCon Board defective.I called Samsung to order the part but Samsung did not have it. Searched on Internet but no one has that TCon board for my TV (version CK12, P3FXZC). I learned the lesson, Samsung may be good but not reliable. I spent $1200 for it and it last only 6 years. For sure my next TV set is Japaneese, no more Korean.
