toshiba p70-a

I bought a toshiba satellite P70-A win 8, now win 10 at a cost of AU $1800 for my retirement to do family tree research and compilation of data. What a disgusting laptop it turned out to be. It over heats, now has a large adjustable 5inch fan stand, when working on word or publisher documents it freezes, only a hard shut down with the power button can resolve the freezing. At some start ups it does the same freezing or very slow operation and it has to be shut down and restarted. Another problem is the wifi shuts down and it has to be re-enabled, sometimes with another restart. An old Acer Aspire 5611 AWLMi 13inch laptop runs rings around this $18k paper weight, it has a much better ventilation system and gives very little trouble, is used daily for emails and downloads from internet can be done, copied to word document and printed whilst waiting for the P70-A to download, and only needs the dust blown out on occasions. Both the P70-A and the Acer operate on the same telstra wifi service. Between bill gates and toshiba life with computers has become Google "toshiba" and see the smashed up computers owned by pissed off toshiba owners.
