Poor customer service

I purchased a Whirlpool WRS965CIAE00 refrigerator on May 1. It was delivered and installed as promised, but after 24 hours it had not made any ice, and the icemaker overflowed and flooded the floor. I called and Whirlpool had a serviceman out the next business day. He determined that a part was needed, but it took five days to arrive. After replacing this part, the icemaker still didn't work, the serviceman returned, and with the help of Whirlpool tech support, found that two different parts were needed. These took three days to arrive. After replacing these parts, the icemaker still didn't work, so Whirlpool sent a new icemaker. The repairman installed it, and still no ice. I called Whirlpool to ask for a replacement refrigerator, and their response was to have a second repair company try, but that it would be ten days before the second company could schedule an appointment. I called the retailer where I had purchased the refrigerator, and in less than a minute, they agreed to replace the defective refrigerator. Whirlpool has a good reputation for reliability, but their response to a failure is unacceptable. It's not that things go wrong, because they will. It's what you do when things go wrong, and Whirlpool did not seem to care or believe that their refrigerator had a problem.
