Avoid Whirlpool touchscreen.
Beware of this machine. The touch screen is very unresponsive which will render you unable to adjust many settings for the washing cycles. There is a recalibration screen where you are prompted to touch three different positions but this does not seem to fix the problem. If the calibration is off and you need to press a screen âA533;A533;buttonâA533;A533; at the edge of the screen there is just no more screen room to get at the âA533;A533;buttonâA533;A533;. This has been a very disappointing purchase. Also, many times we have found soap residue on our washed clothes even when using an extra rinse cycle no matter how little HE detergent we use. A $200 washer would better unless you donâA533;A533;t mind spending an extra 20 minutes with the touch screen every time you want to start a load of laundry. To be fair, matching dryer touch screen does work a little better.
