Great buy for an everyday driver!

So I have owned my 2008 Ford Focus SES for about a year and a half now and I can say this is the most fun I've ever had in an every day driver. The integrated Ford Sync system works great with my IPod and IPhone. All I do is hook the IPod to the in dash USB port and the car does the rest. With the steering wheel mounted Sync button I don't ever find myself messing with my phone trying to dial a number or find the perfect song. I Just hit the button say what I wanna hear and it plays. Same goes for the phone. Hit the button say who I wanna call and the car does the rest. Its can even be upgraded by the ford dealership to send/read text messages and give GPS directions.

Now as far as the rest goes. Im a car guy and enjoy driving. Although it seems like your average sedan the focus grips the road amazingly well. I would have given it four stars in the performance rating if it wasnt for the fact that it feels just alittle under powered. But hey, You cant win'em all.

I cant really speak for Fords customer service seeing as how I bought it used from a Toyota dealership but so far I have yet to have any major issues with it. Just regular service and maintenance which as it turns out is fairly cheap! 60,000 miles and going strong.

The car came fully loaded with every option and I ended up paying about 13,000 for it. Which does seem alittle on the high end when compared with some other imports but again I have no complaints so far.

I drive it every day to and from work and around town and I'm averaging about 25-30 mpg so I end up filling up about once every 2-2 1/2 weeks which seems pretty good to me.

And for all you tuners out there. There is a plethora of aftermarket performance parts for this car. Ranging from smaller bolt on parts to complete motor rebuild kits and full on race turbo kits.

So far this has been a great buy and this car most definitely breaks the stigma of the old Focus. Ford has really stepped up their game to compete with the imports and I'll be more than happy to reap the benefits, LoL!
