Model 40272 Front Load HE Wahser, issues with "Pre-Soak" option

I have owned this washer and its matching dryer for 7 months now and I love its capabilities. However, since the machine did not come with a "cup" in the "Pre-Soak" location in the dispenser drawer, I am at a loss for how to dispense my OxyClean powder without gumming up the mechanism. Any ideas???
