LG WM3470HWA Reviews

LG WM3470HWA Leaks

Installed a new LG WM3470 washer. The machine has an intermittent leak during the final spin cycle (last 4 min). The leak is from the bottom of the machine and not from the rear. Does not appear to be related to the amount of HE detergent used. Machine is completely level, the filter is clean and this has occurred within the first 5 loads. Can run 10 loads problem free at time then the next one will result in a pool of water from under the machine. Running the service diagnostics with no load in the machine will not result in the leak. Onsite service personnel looked at the machine and seeing no failure at the time of the service call (showed them pictures of the leak) suggested a pan under the machine. Replacing with a top loader from another manufacturer.
