I posted my comment last night and now it has disappeared from here, so I will post it again and hope that I hear something positive from Lexmark about some help for my printer situation......
I received my Lexmark Platinum Pro905 replacement and set it up on June 19, 2012. I was a little bit skeptical of it right out of the box as it seemed to have been refurbished since it was missing the clear plastic over the touch pad and also still had the history of some emails in it that were sent on 10-30-11, but I installed it anyway. Since then I have installed it and reinstalled it several times trying to get it to print until I am very frustrated with it. It will scan and then send me the scans, but my printer will not print anything but a test page. It continually says that it is not communicating with my computer, yet the green WiFi light is on, and I have set and reset the settings, printer, router, computer and rebooted, turned off and then on, unplugged and plugged back in multiple times now. It does scan and then emails me the scan (using the WiFi) but when I try to get it to print something sent from my computer, it won't. I am at my wits end with both the original printer and this "new" one also. I really would like a refund, as I do not have time to continue working with this model as it has too many "issues" to continually deal with. Thanks.
