Price of ink cartridges is very high.

performance is acceptable. The use of ink when not printing (probably drying out) is bad. Cannot scan if any ink cartridge is empty. This doesn't make sense. Cannot send faxes if any ink cartridge is empty. price of a set of cartridges is enough I could purchase a scanner. Twice and I could have purchased a printer.
