cycle problems?
washer has cycle problems from 6 monthsafter purchasing. timer was changed under warranty but service person did not think that was it but changed it anyway, same problems have occured to this day and if you are lucky it will kick it's self back but not so far. it will fill while the washer is agitating and will not drain properly. i had a maytag before this one with years of service with no problems. guy said it was possible water sensor but he never called me back and the warranty expired by then so i am still waiting for it to try to work right again and have no choice but to use it the way it is.
Garbage!
I would have had better results buying an old hand wringer washer than this thing. 1st timer went out at 20 months, $126.00 later, and that one lasted a whopping 2 1/2 months. This machine will not get your clothes clean. It leaves spots on the clothes, deodorant stains will not wash out, it sounds like an old John Deere tractor and the water level sensor is a joke.Bad timers
We had to replace timer, under warrenty, the first day Lowes installed the washer, the timer would not advance. The second timer was replace after 5 months. We just had the third timer replaced under extended warrenty and this time they also replaced the sensor switch after 18 months.Consumer Reports gave this model washer )MVWC6ESWW1 a really good rating, but it sure hasn't impressed us and now we fear that this will be a continual problem as it seams Maytag is not going to fix the timer problem, but just keep replacing it with the same thing over and over again.
