Do not buy this phone
I purchased the Panasonic KX-TG4732 cordless phone. The answering machine's recordings were very low in volume. Turning up the volume only seemed to cause the automated voice, saying "You have one new message" to get very loud, but the messages were almost impossible to understand.I exchanged the phone, thinking I had gotten a lemon.
Second phone was a bit better. The answering machine was understandable, but only when the volume was set on 7 or 8 out of 8. I debated about returning it.
The next day, while still deciding about its return, I called it from my cell. The answering machine was no longer functioning at all.
I returned the phone.
