My Samsung Dryer is not even 2 years old and the touch screen goes out!

I bought my Samsung Dryer model DV457EVGSGR/A1 20 months ago. I had never heard of a WiFi dryer, and still have not used that part, but I have been totally in heaven with this dryer-until today. It was working fine yesterday, and today I put a load in to dry, the inside light comes on, but the display does not come on when I push the start button. The button is clicking, the display just will not come on! The closest warranty repair center is 50 miles from me and their phone number given to me by the Samsung rep. goes to a mail box that has not been set up. So, I can not even put in a work order! I have several Samsung items, including a 65" 3D flat screen tv, which I love, Samsung 10" notebook with no problems so far, and had my second Samsung S3 (I loved the first one, which black screened on me at 1 year. I then got a Samsung S4mini, which I have to turn off and reset quite often, so I can hear the caller. I am due an upgrade in January, so I am trying to wait, but scared to get another Samsung. I do not know what is going on with Samsung, but at this rate, I am now afraid of something going out on all items! I cannot afford to replace. Thank goodness the screen had a 2 year warranty, which is up in March of 2016. My next step is to get a home warranty on all my applianaces at $58.00 a month, so I can have them fixed. Of course, this will not help my phones, tv, or notebook.
