Excellent TV, until it died.... Samsung touted it lasting 20,000+ hours, F-

Why did I believe Samsung and pay $2000+ for a TV that doesn't even live up to their life expectancy claims. A quick serach on the net comes up with scores of people having the exact same picture issue. Cars that have a 100k mile warranty are taken care of if they fail to meet that mark, not so much with Samsung, apparently. Customer service nice but wholly ineffective. I'll look at other brands next time..
