I bought a Sony Bravia KDL-52VL150 just over two years ago from Sam's for around $1,600.00 Because I was told it would last a long time. I noticed a blurring on the left side of the screen for a while then it started getting worse. I contacted Sony tech to find out it was out of warranty at two years. He stated I should have bought the extended warranty. I did not know I should have done that. He did not offer any help with it. I feel for the large amount of money I paid for it. It should have last much longer. It appears I need to buy another one since the repair cost is more than the TV. It is just plain wrong.
