location of internal battery on Sony XDCAM PDW700 camera / camcorder

The internal battery for the PDW700 is a lithium 2032, which are widely available. The location of the battery inside the panel of the camcorder, on the operator side. Take out the screws and carefully remove the panel. The battery compartment is on the inside of the panel. Don't forget to remove any film from the battery before inserting the new 2032. To reset the time and date, access the DIAGNOSIS menu.
