Good recorder, crappy remote.

The scroll wheel has a design problem - the wheel is plastic. On the right side is a metal shaft which triggers a switch when it is depressed. No problem there. In the left side is a plastic shaft that drives the encoder. The plastic shaft is not strong enough. After my first remote broke I bought a replacement, but it soon broke also. I fitted mine with a metal shaft on the left, and have had no further problems with that. Now I have a new problem. The buttons require abnormally high pressure. Some of them don't work at all. Replacements are no longer available.
