Revolutionary

I went to Japan in 1985 when Nintendo was all very new and stayed with a Japanese host who offered to buy me anything in an electronics shop. The Sony SRF-201 was something completely different than anything else. My Japanese host was put off by the price, something like 9000yen which was about 100 dollars and suggested that I get an NES. Anyways he bought it for me and I was so pleased that I could listen to radio anywhere. When I arrived back in NZ, it was so new that EVERYBODY wanted to listen. What was so amazing was the quality. Comments like it's like a CD! So amazing! was common. I kept it for a couple of years and left home. Wish I had it now. There you go.
