Copy of my note to Mediabridge, a wireless adapter manufacturer -
"Just received the adapter which installed in my Viao VGN-z540 easily and
works fine, making me curse Sony for the hours and hours of trying to get
their pathetic Intel 5100 driver to install - and stay installed - without
success; so many people have written on the web about this you would think they'd have done something about it; not possible to communicate with them (out of warranty!); I'll never buy a Viao again - even if they were to have developed the best wireless
technology now; I'll take a long time to forgive them the bad experience
with this one and their ir-responsibility.
Thanks and congrats on an excellent little affordable device. Sony should
take lessons from you."
