Problem with the wireless

I just bought this router a few days back and regretted getting it. Thinking that it was cheaper than other routers. Just to let you guys know what happen, I actually wanted to change my wireless at home to wireless-N, but ended up with a intermittent wireless connection. On my windows 7, it shows 65 to 130 mbps, but when you try to connect to internet or share files through local network, the connection goes on and off. This interminttent connection has been very frustrating for me. Especially when I was using a linksys, I had not face this issue. This issue is new to me. I have tried moving the router around the house to try to find a better location and have concluded that the issue is not with location, but with the router itself as my linksys has no problem at all.
