I bought a Toshiba Satellite X205-SLi1 in August 2008. It was brand new. In January 2009 the video card went out. I had an 8 month long battle with toshiba, because they refused to honor the warranty. Only after threatening to sue, did they finally agree. But originally they said it would cost me $450 just to send it in. That is the cost of a brand new laptop at Wal-Mart.
