Unending Problems

We have experienced several problems with this model, which we bought in June 2014. It is now December 2014. First, the magnet on the refrigerator side of this side-by-side model does not kick in when the door is almost closed. It has been repaired three times and still has not been fixed. Our repairman, who is very competent, plans to contact Whirlpool to discuss this problem. Second, we had to replace both doors due to underlying rust on the outside of the doors. In error, Whirlpool has delivered an extra two doors--yikes! Third, the ice maker is being repaired tomorrow. Our repairman also told us he has been replacing thermostats on this model. I have been in contact with Whirlpool twice and the response is pretty much, "Oh, well. Let's continue to make repairs." Whirlpool is off my list--too bad; it's an American company.
