Problematic ice maker.

I currently own a whirlpool wui75x15hz. It's nearing the end of the manufacturers one year warranty. From the first time it made ice it has had a problem with filling the reservoir. It will fill the reservoir, but not stop when it's full. The reservoir overflows & the water melts the ice at the back of the ice compartment. It overflows enough to fill the sump 2 or 3 times, & that causes the sump pump to run 2 or 3 times per fill. It wastes water & leaves us with about three quarters of regular ice capacity. Repair is on the way today, but since this will be their third attempt I doubt they will be able to repair it. Whirlpool provides no service manuals & no help getting good service. This will be my last Whirlpool product.
