WHIRLPOOL WASHER - WTW4850XQO

I BOUGHT THIS MODEL IN JULY,11 AND AFTER ONE YEAR AND THREE WEEKS (DURING THIS PERIOD WE TRAVELED OVER FOUR MONTHS) WITH ONLY A COUPLE USING THE PRODUCT, THE DOOR WOULD NOT LOCK, THUS THE MACHINE WOULD NOT OPERATE. CALLED WHIRLPOOL WITH LITTLE IN THE WAY OF HELP OTHER THAN SEND OUT A TECH WHICH WAS EXPENSIVE TO EVEN WALK IN THE DOOR OR BUY A $300 WARRANTY. OUR TRUSTY REPAIR MAN CAME OUT AS WENT TO SCHOOL ON THIS MACHINE BUT AFTER TRYING NEW LOCK COULD NOT GET IT TOO OPERATE. HE ALSO CONTACTED WHIRLPOOL AND NOT MUCH HELP OTHER THAN TO TRY OTHER PARTS. THE RESULT IS I HAVE BOUGHT A KENMORE(WHO KNOWS COULD BE MAYTAG OR ANOTHER WHIRLPOOL) AND DITCHED THIS WORTHLESS WASHER. NEVER REALLY LIKED IT BUT SUCH A WASTE OF MONEY. YOU WOULD THINK THAT WHIRLPOOL WOULD BE INTERESTED IN HELPING ON SUCH A NEW WASHER BUT NO!!
