Worst appliance we've had in over 40 years of marriage

The first machine was delivered and was dead on arrivel and had to be taken back. After several days another one was delivered. When clogging problems developed we found out local people aren't allowed to do warranty work...you have to deal with incompetents at an 800 number. I ended up having to fix the machine myself. My main complaint is that it's hard to believe there's not a soak cycle in a washer...I guess they think no one works & gets clothes dirty. If you try stopping &soaking the machine empties your soap after a few minutes and stops. It took me awhile but found a workaround by letting the machine go all the way into the wash cycle then stopping it and adding soap & softener.
