Our first and last Maytag purchase. We bought Maytags 300 Quiet Series washer and dryer last year which cost over $2,000 with the extended warranty. The washer sounds like a jet plane taking off and tangles all the clothing so badly that I now have to iron everything. The dryer cannot even remove the wrinkles because they are so deeply imbedded. Customer service was polite but in essence,"too bad" your stuck with them. Service techs. tell us this is how the machine should be behaving as they cannot find anything wrong. The washer has also ruined many clothes because of tearing. How can Maytag design and sell such crap.
