Washer leaks water

The auto load sensing system allows the tub to lower with heavy loads leaving a huge gap between top of tub and top of washer. GE eliminated the flashing top of washer the flashing keeps the water in the tub. The gap allows water to splash over the top run of the tub run down the inside of the washer and out on the floor. Had service come out and was told it is an engineering defect; have to live with the issue. We are fine the washer is in the garage; do not use this product inside your home.
